As the Historical Society of Cecil County prepares an exhibit remembering the 1960s in Cecil County, here is an interesting video about President John F. Kennedy dedicating the Northeastern express or I-95. It was November 14, 1963.
A few years ago, the Delaware Department of Transportation located a tape of radio station WDEL’s broadcast of that memorable day, nearly fifty years ago. They combined the audio recording with photographs to produce this product.
